6 Months, Week 3

So much to be thankful for this year! Starting with this little turkey! She is such a happy girl and a joy to be around. We are truly are blessed to have her in our lives.

Our little Butterball weighed 14 pounds, 10.7 ounces this week (she always weighs a little more at the pediatrician's office).

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. Lucky for us, Grandma Sue did most of the cooking!

Olivia has also moved on from rice cereal to pureed fruits and veggies. To celebrate Thanksgiving, Olivia had her first taste of sweet potatoes. I think she is a fan!

She is also not the neatest eater (at least not when mommy feeds her!). So, Olivia has taken to a more au natural dress code when dining at home...

As experienced of a bargain shopper as Olivia is, she is still a little too young for Black Friday shopping. She got to stay home with Daddy and Grandpa while Mommy and Grandma hit the sales. I think it was a win-win situation for everyone!

We also took Olivia to Monument Circle to see the Circle of Lights. We were fortunate to be experiencing some unseasonably warm weather for Indiana in November. She loved seeing all of the lights!

Josh and I did take her to the mall when we started some of our holiday shopping. Olivia was most excited when she saw her idol Justin Bieber. (She was trying to play it cool.)

Oh and Josh has a message for any potential suitors at daycare and Mommy and Me...

6 Months, Week 2

What a big week of firsts! We started off with a 6 month check-up at the doctor. She now weighs 15 pounds (28th percentile), is 25 and 1/2 inches long (38th percentile), and has a head circumference of 42.7 centimeters (55th percentile). She also got the go ahead to start solid food! First on the menu, rice cereal...

As you can see, she liked it for the most part. But, I think she knows there are tastier foods on the horizon!

And all those solids must have given Olivia the extra energy she needed to start crawling! She has been pushing up on all fours for the last few weeks and this week she figured out it much faster to crawl than to keep rolling around.

This week we also attempted a photo session with Olivia and her cousins, Will and Amelia. I say attempted because I severely underestimated how difficult it was to get a good shot of three kiddos under 3. Regardless, they were darn cute. Hurry back to Indiana Kinter family! We miss you already!

Mini-me is just growing up so fast! I know there will come a time when she won't be caught dead wearing the same thing as me. But while I'm still picking out her clothes, I couldn't resist the matching tops.

6 Months!

It's hard to believe our little peanut is already 6 months old! Has it really been half a year already?

And just like her outfit says, our little Taurus is
"Strong
Warm and Loving
Charming
Loves Kisses
Mommy's Little Taurus"

Olivia's official 6 month check-up with the pediatrician is tomorrow but she weighed in at 14 pounds, 8.3 ounces at the "Mommy and Me" group tonight.

Recently, Olivia has started to discover her own voice. At this point, you can't help but smile when she starts up. I'm sure once she starts doing this as teenager it will not be so cute!

25 Weeks

Things were fairly low key this week (which we will never complain about!). Girly girl weighed in at 14 pounds, 4.2 ounces

And when you go to run errands, it's very important to be fully accessorized. You never know who you will run into!

5 Months, Week 4

This week was Olivia's first Halloween! She's still battling that mean old ear infection but that didn't stop her from having some fun!

We met Grandma and Grandpa Szafarczyk for lunch in Lafayette.

She was very excited to get a new teddy bear.

And of course spend some time getting passed around!

While we were in Lafayette, we also got to see Uncle Jordan.

Finally it was time for Olivia the Fairy to put on her costume.

Even Tinker joined in on the "fun"! Look how thrilled he is to be Peter Pan while Olivia is Tinkerbell.

Mario (our God son Kalman) also came over to do some trick or treating.

All in all, a very busy and fun week for Miss Olivia!
