These first few pics are actually from last week, but I couldn't resist sharing them. Papa took these when he and Grandma took me out for my birthday. Livi picked her favorite restaurant, O'Charley's, which was fine because their rolls, soup, and pie are delicious!
We found another food Livi likes - chicken tacos! Granted it is just another variation of one her favorites (chicken), but we just keep trying new dinner choices and hope we find some winners!
I can't believe it is already Thanksgiving! We continue to have so much to be thankful for each day, especially this little girl. She may be little but she does everything big. Her smiles, her hugs, her laugh - she gives it all she's got!
We spent Thanksgiving in Columbia City. As usual, the food was so good as was the company. A rousing game of "Pass the Livi" also broke out with Grampy, Grammy, and Uncle Jordan. I think everyone wins at that game!
After a fun few days at Grammy and Grampy's we headed onto Papa and Grandma's house for the rest of the weekend. Livi was in her glory baking and dressing up like "mini-Grandma"! Livi also got a chance to visit Great Papa and Grandma Szafarczyk while Josh and I knocked out a little bit of our Christmas shopping.
She was however much more comfortable with this Santa at Papa and Grandma's house! She helped Grandma position her Santa collection and then helped Papa cheer on his beloved Bears.
When we got home from our fun weekend, we discovered a new house guest waiting for us. Our very own "Elf on a Shelf" arrived to help us kick off the holidays. I'm not sure how much Olivia really gets it yet, but it's worth a try!
